Asking 'which AI is best' is like asking 'which vehicle is best'. Best for what? ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Gemini — superb chat generalists; if you use one daily, keep using it. Claude is prized for careful reasoning, long context, and — the part that matters for us — building software with Claude Code.
It's chat vs. agent. A chat model answers your questions. An agent — like Claude Code — actually takes actions on your computer: writes files, runs your project, fixes errors. That's the leap from talking about building to building.
We lean on Claude Code, because our whole goal is to make a real thing exist. An AI that can act is the shortest path from your idea to a working product. The next module shows you exactly what that looks like.
Builders keep two or three models open and pick per task. Tribal loyalty to one brand is a beginner tax. And yes — other companies ship coding agents too. Claude Code is simply the most mature and most widely used of them, so this course teaches one tool deeply; everything you learn transfers if you ever switch.
