What is vibe coding?+

The phrase was coined by Andrej Karpathy in 2025 and has become the dominant way non-programmers build real tools with AI.
What exactly is Claude Code?+
Claude Code is an AI agent by Anthropic that works in your computer's terminal: you describe what you want in plain language, and it creates the real files, runs the project, sees its own errors and fixes them. Unlike a chat window, it doesn't hand you code to copy-paste — it does the work. The early lessons of the course show exactly what that looks like.
Is Claude Code free?+
Claude Code needs a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) or a Claude Console account that pays per use; the free Claude plan does not include it. Pro is about $20 a month; current prices are on claude.com/pricing. Claude is not available in every country. This course is free: no card, nothing to buy, and the first lessons need no plan at all.
Is Claude Code better than ChatGPT?+
They're different species. ChatGPT (like any chat) answers and advises — but hands you the work. Claude Code is an agent: it acts on your computer, builds, tests and fixes until the thing works. For everyday questions, keep your chat. For building real tools — that's what Claude Code is for.
How do I install Claude Code?+
Use the official installer. On Mac or Linux, paste curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash into the terminal; on Windows PowerShell, paste irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex. Then type claude and sign in once in the browser. Node.js is not needed. The install lessons of the course walk through every step, including the typical Windows and Mac errors and their fixes.
Can I use Claude Code without programming skills?+
Yes — that's the whole point of this vibe coding course. You never memorize commands: you describe what you want in your own language (English, Russian, anything), and Claude Code handles the implementation. The skill you actually learn is describing results clearly.
