WorkBuddy Guide: the free handbook of Tencent AI agent
Bluebook of WorkBuddy, Tencent’s office assistant. Not written for us because it’s mainly in Chinese. But it’s fascinating how they did it.
WorkBuddy is an Office Assistant for daily assistance (e.g. HR, admin, sales, engineer) that can complete tasks such as reading files locally, generating reports, spreadsheets and presentations as well as knowledge management. WorkBuddy can access multiple models(Hunyuan/DeepSeek/GLM/Kimi/MiniMax), MCP Server & Skills. Official document repo, but actually it’s a bluebook written by community. Introduce how to install it and do the first task, then give some examples, multi-agents, RB Roadmap etc. Mostly simplified chinese (only README supports bilingual). License: MIT.
Why a vibe-coder should care
It’s not written for us, it’s about another product, in another language. But as a case study, it’s worth looking at. It’s broken down into four levels of maturity (L1–L4) from “AI writes” to a “departmental digital twin” with access control, audit logs and error handling. There’s also a caveat for reaching each level: you need to be honest. And as a note, this applies to any agent including Claude Code.
