Automatically Remove AI Generated Watermark From Images!

A skill to automatically clean away AI watermarks from all your agent’s writing (text, PDFs, images, videos, etc.)

watermarks-remover is an agent skill and local Python service for removing AI watermarks from text and your data. It works by removing non-deterministic (statistical) and deterministic (Unicode character/exotic space/bidirectional control) watermarks from your text/files. Supported AI watermarks include those used by Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini/SynthID-Text), OpenAI, and open-source LLMs. It also removes C2PA, EXIF, XMP, and document metadata from various file types such as PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, EPUB, HTML, Markdown, MP4, WAV, FLAC, and more. It can be installed as a Claude Code plugin through the marketplace and uses a local service via an HTTP endpoint (no Python required on the agent host). It also automatically hooks into PostToolUse with a hook for each Write, Edit, and MultiEdit command.

Why a vibe-coder should care

No more hidden AI watermarks in your text or files! Your writing will be automatically cleaned of AI watermarks as your agent writes files.

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the plugin from https://github.com/guillaumemeyer/watermarks-remover: in Claude Code run `/plugin marketplace add guillaumemeyer/watermarks-remover`, then `/plugin install watermarks-remover@watermarks-remover`, start the local service following the README, and let me know when ready; ask me if you need dependencies.

Runs on a regular laptop — you'll need Python 3.10+; no external dependencies required.
