Turn vibecoded, AI-looking UI into a designed interface
Unslop is a Claude Code skill that finds the AI look on your screen — purple gradients, emoji icons, uneven spacing — and fixes it pass by pass, turning vibecoded UI into something with its own character.
It's a folder of instructions for Claude Code: it scans your screen for signs of the AI look, sets a direction, then fixes problems one pass at a time — spacing, color, icons, copy, layout.
When it helps
Useful when polishing a dashboard, app, or landing page other people will see — whether from the code or just a link to a live site. For an internal tool only you look at, the payoff may not be worth it.
Pros
- Works with any stack: Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte, Tailwind, plain HTML/CSS
- Shows exactly where each problem lives before touching anything
- Asks permission before every paid image generation
- Can fix a live site from just a link, no code access needed
Cons
- Background images may need a paid image-generation service
- Little benefit on a screen that already looks fine — just minor tweaks
How to set it up — step by step
- 1Run: git clone https://github.com/heydamir/unslop
- 2Run: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r unslop/skills/unslop ~/.claude/skills/ (or copy it into your project's .claude/skills)
- 3Open Claude Code in your project folder
- 4Send the agent the text from the block below
- 5Check the audit and proposed direction before approving any edits
- 6Compare the screen before and after, then decide whether to publish
Text for your agent
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install the unslop skill from https://github.com/heydamir/unslop — copy the skills/unslop folder into ~/.claude/skills/ (or this project's .claude/skills), then run /unslop on [name a screen or give a site link] and show me the before and after.
Light — it's just a folder of instructions inside Claude Code, no GPU or server needed. The optional progress video needs Playwright and ffmpeg, but the skill works fine without them.
