Wake — All Coding-Agent Sessions in One macOS App

A native macOS app that gathers sessions from 11 AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Kiro, OpenCode, Grok Build, and others — into one searchable window with one-click resume.

Wake is a native macOS app (macOS 14+) built with Rust and GPUI that collects all coding-agent sessions from 11 tools into one window: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Copilot CLI, Cursor (CLI transcripts), OpenCode, OpenCode 2, Kiro, Gemini CLI, Pi, Oh My Pi, Grok Build, and Kimi Code. It reads each tool's local data directory entirely read-only, never modifying agent files or databases. Full-text search (⌘K) uses SQLite FTS5 trigram indexing that handles CJK text and code substrings like `useEffect(` equally well and jumps straight to the matched message in the transcript. The transcript view renders per-message bubbles, collapsible tool-call clusters, thinking summaries, and tree-sitter syntax highlighting for 30+ programming languages. One-click resume reopens the session in Terminal or iTerm at the original project directory. Sessions can be starred or pinned (stored in Wake's own DB, originals untouched), exported to Markdown, or deleted to system Trash with tombstoning so deleted sessions stay gone after index rebuilds. On a 310-session, 800 MB JSONL dataset, full index takes ~5 s; subsequent launches are instant via mtime-based incremental scan.

Why a vibe-coder should care

If you switch between Claude Code, Codex, and other agents daily, finding a specific past conversation across 11 different directories wastes real time. Wake gives you one unified full-text search across every local session with sub-millisecond results, with no accounts, no network, and no risk of touching another tool's files.

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install Wake from https://github.com/iAmCorey/Wake — build it per the README and launch the app; if macOS blocks it, remove the quarantine flag.

Runs on a regular Mac with macOS 14+ — no GPU needed; you'll need the Rust toolchain to build from source.
