Goldie: Screenshot images for the iOS App Store with coding agents

Create App Store screenshots & preview videos for iOS apps — via Claude Code or Cursor with easy text prompting

01kacperkapusciak/goldie 363TypeScript

Goldie generates App Store screenshots & preview videos from iOS simulator. It takes screens with the argent testing framework, puts each screen inside a device bezel (iPhone 17 Pro or others), places a background and a heading, stitches all of them together into a preview video and validates the final output against the App Store guidelines. Supports SwiftUI, UIKit, Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform apps. In the studio, select fonts (Merriweather, DM Sans), layouts (editorial, showcase, magazine) and background colors. Key feature: use Claude Code or Cursor to invoke Goldie with an easy text prompt, so that the agent will execute it and deliver all the files to you automatically — no terminal needed! Screenshots are 1320 x 2868 px (for 6.9” screens), preview videos are 886 x 1920 H.264, 15–30 sec long.

Why a vibe-coder should care

App Store publishing needs beautiful screenshots. It’s a pain to create them manually. Now, you can get them with one text prompt to your coding agent that will run simulator, capture screens, assemble valid files to upload to the App Store — all on its own!

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install Goldie from https://github.com/kacperkapusciak/goldie — follow the README, run the simulator with my iOS app, generate App Store screenshots, and show me the output files

Requires macOS with Xcode and the iOS simulator — if you already build iOS apps, you have everything you need.
