How to teach your AI agent to write vivid scenes instead of clichés

This is a ready-made rule set for agents like Claude Code and Codex — once installed, they describe scenes through action and detail instead of vague phrases.

This is an instruction file (a 'skill') for an AI agent, built from one well-known Chinese-language text. It teaches the agent to show an event through action instead of naming the emotion.

When it helps

Useful if you ask your agent to write personal stories, memoirs, or posts about business, work, or family — the text gets more concrete. Not for official or reference texts — documentation, reports, instructions.

Pros

  • Agent swaps vague phrases like 'she was upset' for concrete actions and details
  • Works for real stories, memoirs, and texts about business and family
  • Doesn't invent numbers or details that aren't in your material
  • Installs with a single message to your agent

Cons

  • Not suited for documentation, reports, or instructions
  • Needs material with real scenes and details — won't work from nothing
  • Agent may still slip in a clichéd phrase like 'in that moment I understood'

How to set it up — step by step

  1. 1Open your agent (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) in your project folder.
  2. 2Send the agent the text from the block below.
  3. 3Wait while the agent finds the skill folder in the repository and installs it.
  4. 4Check that the agent wrote a test paragraph about a life event in the new style.
  5. 5Compare the paragraph to the agent's usual writing and decide if the style fits your work.
  6. 6Keep using the skill by naming it — sun-style-writing — in your requests to the agent.

Text for your agent

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the writing skill from https://github.com/KKKKhazix/sun-style-writing — find the .skill folder in the repo, install it, then write a test paragraph about any everyday event in this style so I can see the difference.
