Anatomy skill: turn an idea into a living interactive diagram

Anatomy is a skill for Claude Code and similar AI agents that turns your idea into a drawing with moving parts instead of a paragraph of text. You get a picture you can rotate and explore.

It's a set of instructions (a skill) for an AI agent: it builds a technical process as an isometric drawing with parts that move. For example, a cache — a shortcut that skips repeated work — becomes a lock that turns only when every pin lines up.

When it helps

Useful when you need a clear diagram for docs, a presentation, an article, or a landing page and plain text would confuse readers. Skip it if words alone explain the idea well enough.

Pros

  • No API keys or extra packages to install — just Node.js.
  • You can rotate and take the diagram apart in the browser.
  • Runs on an ordinary laptop, no graphics card needed.
  • Works for docs, presentations, posts, and landing pages.

Cons

  • Each run rebuilds the scene from scratch — results can vary.
  • 3D mode is still beta — the author calls it unfinished.

How to set it up — step by step

  1. 1Open Claude Code (or another agent: Antigravity, OpenCode, Codex, MiniMax Code) in your project folder.
  2. 2Send the agent the text from the block below.
  3. 3Check that the agent installed the skill and showed a sample diagram, like the lock or the cache.
  4. 4Ask the agent to describe your idea: name the process and give real numbers — sizes, counts, thresholds.
  5. 5Say where the diagram should live: a standalone HTML page, an SVG file, or a React/Next.js component, light or dark theme.
  6. 6Check the result — open the file in a browser and rotate the moving parts.

Text for your agent

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the Anatomy skill from here: https://github.com/wheresryan22/anatomy - the command is npx skills add wheresryan22/anatomy -g -a claude-code, following the README. Then ask me: '/anatomy explain how [your idea] works, interactive' - and show me the result.

Runs on a regular laptop - just Node.js 20 or later, no API keys and no GPU needed.
