Amazon Alexa+ launched in India with support for Hindi language
Alexa+ is now available in India (early access), a dual language AI agent that can change languages during a conversation.
Alexa+ is launched in India (Early Access). Alexa+ is an AI Assistant that can understand and speak in both English and Hindi. It can also switch languages mid-conversation. Alexa+ can do complex tasks such as ordering food (Swiggy/Zomato), home automation, and travel booking (MakeMyTrip/TripAdvisor). If you are an Amazon Prime customer, then this service is free else it will cost you ₹2,000/month ($21 approx).
These tech giants are building agents for major markets (600M native speakers) where AI assistants have struggled. Multistep flows involving local services make for excellent use cases but how well does it work in Hindi?
