Amazon Prime Video Launches AI Lip Syncing Service at Maxton Hall
Amazon Prime Video introduced artificial intelligence (AI) lip sync for the German show Maxton Hall, its most popular foreign-language original ever.
From Sept. 9, Amazon Prime Video is introducing artificial intelligence (AI) lip sync technology for the German show Maxton Hall, its most popular foreign-language original ever that premiered at No. 1 in over 120 countries. This technology remolds actors’ mouth movements to fit with human audio dubbing, without overwriting the original dialogue and is being offered for both seasons 1 & 2 in more than 240 countries.
Lip sync can now be done while preserving context and emotion. Other platforms like Meta and YouTube are doing this as well. Lip sync is going mainstream.
