One million social media posts were analyzed. 41% of long-form (≥250 words) LinkedIn posts are AI generated. (Source: Pangram Analysis, April–June 2026) Only one third of the posts analyzed was posted on LinkedIn, yet it produced almost two thirds of the AI content.
On Reddit, by contrast, almost all replies (98%) are human-written. Social media platforms where activity is rewarded professionally provide fertile ground for AI-generated content because it’s less important who posts than how many. That’s why the growth rate of AI content is highest here.
