All apps need proper brand logos at some point. Login buttons. Social media links. Brand icons in the footer. And whenever you ask your agent to draw them or look up a big icon pack with dozens of icons you never use, you know you’re in trouble.

Super Tiny Icons is a set of 479 SVG icons for popular web sites and applications created by Terence Eden. All icons are standalone SVG files. No frameworks, no npm install, just a simple file. The idea is that they are super tiny. The average icon is 534 bytes, and none of them exceed 1KB. Licensed under the MIT License.

They include logos for Github, Google, Youtube, Spotify, Discord, Apple, Twitter / X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, ChatGPT, Claude, Bluesky, Cloudflare, Figma, and many, many more. All SVGs have a 512x512 viewbox for easy scaling. Just use them anywhere you want to display a brand logo. In a web site, in a mobile app, in a desktop application, it doesn’t matter.

Where can I download SVG icons for free

You can clone the repository and get all 479 icons on your local machine. They are in the images/svg/ directory, one SVG per logo. Each file is named after the brand. If you only need a few icons, you can download them individually instead of cloning.

Clone to get all 479 icons
git clone https://github.com/edent/SuperTinyIcons.git
# icons are in: SuperTinyIcons/images/svg/

Then you can instruct your agent to place the icons where you want. Your agent might copy the icons to your project’s assets folder, inject them into HTML pages, or set them as the source attribute of an img element. These are regular SVG files. Nothing complicated.

Where can I find free SVG icons for commercial use

The project is licensed under the MIT License. However, the logos themselves are owned by the brands, so you must follow their brand guidelines when using these logos. This is usually OK for login buttons, sharing links, and app footers. But if you are using them for commercial purposes or official partnerships, you should read the specific brand policy. Developers rarely think about this for internal tools or personal projects.

What to tell your agent

✦Prompts that work

"I have edent/SuperTinyIcons cloned locally. Use the icons in images/svg/ to add GitHub, Google, and Apple social login buttons to the auth page. Style them as round buttons, 40px, matching the existing button row." "Add a footer to the page with social links. Use icons from edent/SuperTinyIcons for GitHub, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Discord — SVG files from images/svg/. Make them 24px, grey, with a hover effect."

✓What you get

479 single-file SVG logos for the most popular websites and services, all under 1KB each. MIT licensed, no install required. Your agent can drop any of them into a login button, share link, or footer in seconds. No custom drawing, no wrong colors, no missing brand — just the real logo as a tiny clean file.
