How to set it up — step by step
- 1Open Claude Code in a new folder — the project lives at https://github.com/ai-job-search-dev/ai-job-search.
- 2Send the agent the text from the block below — it will fork or privately clone the repo, install LaTeX and dependencies, and help fill in your profile.
- 3Check your profile: name, contact details, work history, and salary expectations must be accurate.
- 4Run /scrape — the agent finds job postings and ranks them against your preferences.
- 5Run /apply on a matching posting to get a tailored résumé and cover letter as a PDF.
- 6Read the résumé and cover letter before sending — the agent never sends them for you.

Runs on a regular laptop — you'll need a Claude Code subscription (or API key) and a LaTeX install to compile the resume PDFs.
