anyCreature: AI Text-to-3D Creature Pipeline
anyCreature is a 3D creature pipeline powered by AI. Describe your creature with a single sentence. Get back silhouette, mesh, colours, and animations in a game-ready GLB with rigging.
anyCreature is an open source pipeline for describing creatures in a single sentence, and getting back a game-ready GLB with rigging, skinning, vertex colours, and ambient occlusion baked, generated using AI. It’s a 5 stage (00_START to 04_SHIP) pipeline, described in cards, which are loaded by an executing AI session. There are no runtime dependencies, and can be run with just a JSON spec file as input, and a skinned GLB as output (`node engine/cli.js spec.json out.glb`). All output is kept strictly on track by independent ‘blind reader’ quality checks, where the AI session must produce a 24 pixel silhouette which is recognisable by a ‘blind reader’ AI which has no context on what should come next. There are also no self-checks, so if a silhouette doesn’t work for the context, it gets re-worked until it does. Node.js 18+, Python 3.9+.
Why a vibe-coder should care
If you’re looking to create games or interactive scenes using AI agents, but want to generate unique creatures based on textual descriptions, without having to buy art assets or learn how to use 3D packages, then anyCreature will take care of the entire pipeline for you, including ensuring quality with independent ‘blind readers’, so you don’t have to trust the agent to police itself.
How to install
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Deploy anyCreature from https://github.com/Ariescar/anyCreature — run setup.sh and verify it prints «calibrate OK», then create a test creature following MANUAL.md (start from card 00_START) and show me the resulting GLB file.
Runs on a regular laptop — you'll need Node.js 18+ and Python 3.9+; no GPU required. Silhouette rendering uses headless Chromium via Playwright (installed automatically).
