i-have-adhd is a skill for Claude Code and Codex that makes your agent’s responses more concise by only focusing on the steps to take first and then explaining later. The agent always responds in accordance with 10 rules: provide an explicit instruction or command to do next, enumerate steps if necessary, finish with a single action item, avoid distractions, repeat back context on every turn, never use preambles like “Great question!”, recaps, or closers like “Hope this helps!”, limit lists to 5 items, refer to time in minutes instead of “soon” or “briefly”, don’t apologize for mistakes, everything is configurable. Clone the repo, modify SKILL.md, install your fork. Published in May 2026, now with 23k stars — trust me, we need it.

Why a vibe-coder should care

It helps you save time when reading the agent’s responses because it only gives you what you need — an instruction and the file path, instead of 3 paragraphs of context. The agent doesn’t hope it was helpful, it just is.

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the i-have-adhd skill from https://github.com/ayghri/i-have-adhd — follow the instructions in AGENTS.md or INSTALL.md in the repo, activate the skill and show me a before/after example response.
