Codex++ is an external launcher and manager of OpenAI Codex desktop app, written in Rust 1.85+ and Tauri 2.x. It connects with the official OpenAI Codex desktop app by using Chromium DevTools Protocol, without modifying app.asar or installing patch files under installation folder. This program provides four types of providers (official account, official account & API, pure API and aggregated provider with fallback & load balance support to multi-provider) to manage auth info respectively. It also has a powerful session manager with multi-session scan, multi-session delete, multi-session markdown output, session tokens history. Also it includes some UI enhancer features like plugin center open, Chinese UI switcher, remember conversation width & scroll position, Stepwise suggest next step with custom model, Upstream worktree create, Zed Remote support, user script support. Installer is available for Windows x64 (signed), macOS Intel (x64, signed) and macOS Apple Silicon (arm64, signed). Most README is written in Chinese, but you can find the English version here.
