AI Browser Agent: Control your browser with an AI agent.

An AI web browser that’s controlled like a human — navigating websites, clicking, typing, filling forms, getting data. Just tell it what to do, and it takes care of the rest.

The Browser Use Python library lets you fully control a web browser like a human. This means that you can open websites, click elements, type text, fill forms, and scrape structured data. You can specify tasks in natural language and let your AI agent take care of the rest. You can easily install this library as a skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other agents. All you need is one prompt. Once installed, you can direct your AI agent to perform tasks in a web browser such as those in the README: fill out a job application based on a resume, get a list of followers in CSV format, look up and compare products, and track prices. You can use this library with any LLM by calling its API (e.g., Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Browser Use Cloud). This library has 111k stars and is maintained by browser-use.com.

Why a vibe-coder should care

You can now automate common web tasks such as web scraping, form filling, and browser monitoring by asking your AI agent to do them for you. With this library installed, Claude Code or Codex becomes a tool for performing actions on the web on your behalf.

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install Browser Use as a skill in my Claude Code: copy the Quickstart command from https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use and run it. When the skill is installed, tell me how to verify it works. Ask me if you need an API key.

Runs on a regular laptop — the browser interface runs locally; computing is done in the cloud via an LLM API key.
