Describe your stack in a sentence, get a diagram with real logos
This is a skill for an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex): describe your project's stack in one sentence, and the agent draws an architecture diagram with real service logos — no Figma, no manual icon placement.
An instruction set you install into your AI agent. After that it can turn a one-sentence stack description into a ready diagram with service logos.
When it helps
Useful when you need to show your project's architecture to a team, a client, or in docs. Skip it if you never need to explain your stack to anyone.
Pros
- Logos are real, never recolored or redrawn.
- Connector lines never cross labels — the agent checks itself.
- Output is HTML, PNG, a React component, or a Claude artifact.
- Runs on a plain laptop — no GPU, just Python 3.9+ and internet.
Cons
- Only draws diagrams — won't make architecture decisions for you.
- Needs internet access to fetch service logos.
How to set it up — step by step
- 1Open your AI agent (Claude Code, Codex) inside your project folder.
- 2Send the agent the text from the block below.
- 3Wait while the agent installs the skill and fetches the service logos.
- 4Describe your stack in one sentence, if the agent hasn't already.
- 5Check the finished diagram — HTML, PNG, or React component.
Text for your agent
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install the stack-diagram skill from https://github.com/caru-ini/stack-diagram with npx skills add caru-ini/stack-diagram (or upload it as a skill in the Claude app) and ask it to draw an architecture diagram of my current project — describe the services in one sentence.
A regular laptop — no GPU needed, just Python 3.9+ and internet access so the skill can fetch the service logos.
