dsh-Go: Control Your DeepSeek Coding Agent From Your Phone
dsh-Go is an Android app for running DeepSeek Harness (DeepSeek's coding agent) on your phone or controlling it remotely on a computer. Instead of a plain log, animated mascots show what's happening.
It's a mobile client for DeepSeek Harness — DeepSeek's own coding agent, similar to Claude Code. Run it directly on your phone or connect to it running on a computer.
When it helps
Useful if you already run DeepSeek Harness on a computer and want to check progress or approve steps from your phone. Skip it if you're looking for a reason to switch your whole workflow to DeepSeek.
Pros
- Check the agent's task progress without a computer or command line
- Animated mascots show status clearly instead of a dull log
- Works both locally on the phone and remotely with a computer
- Open source, license allows commercial use
Cons
- This runs DeepSeek's own agent, not Claude Code or Opus
- Author's experience: Chinese models handle real coding tasks worse
- Local run needs about 1 GB storage and Android 8.0+
How to set it up — step by step
- 1Download the arm64 APK (installer file) from the repository's Releases page on GitHub.
- 2Enable installing apps from unknown sources on your phone, then install the APK.
- 3Open the app and choose: run the agent locally, or connect to DeepSeek Harness on your computer.
- 4Send the agent the text from the block below if you need help installing and connecting.
- 5Check the screen — the mascot shows if the agent is typing, finished a task, or waiting for your approval.
Text for your agent
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install dsh-Go from the releases of https://github.com/ccch1mneyyy/dsh-Go on my Android phone (8 or newer) — connect it to the DeepSeek Harness I already have set up on my computer (ask me for the connection address if you need it), and show me how the app displays the current task status.
This is a phone app for Android 8 and up — it's light itself and installs as a regular APK. But for the agent to actually do anything you still need either DeepSeek Harness running on a computer that the phone connects to, or set up directly on the phone itself; no separate computer is needed just to watch the status.
