Zoetrope: Live Claude Code Flow Graph
Visualize Claude Code’s JSONL transcripts as animated flow graphs in the terminal or browser.
Zoetrope parses Claude Code’s JSONL transcripts (~/.claude/projects/) and presents the flow graph of a Claude Code session as an animated flow graph. Main agent on top, with agents & work groups below, tools are presented as live chips. Tool calls are shown along with the name of the tool, the number of times it was called, and the total time spent in the tool. You can visualize Claude Code sessions live or rewind & fast forward sessions. The minimap shows up when the graph exceeds the bounds of the screen. Same functionality is made available via WebAssembly at zoetrope.furkankly.dev. Simply drag & drop a Claude Code transcript to get the same flow graph in your browser. All processing happens locally.
Why a vibe-coder should care
Multi-agent & long Claude Code workflows are hard to understand without reading the JSONL. See the overall flow graph structure. Know which agent is currently active, what tools are being called, how much time is being spent in each tool. Prevent your tokens from getting burnt because of infinite loops and stuck steps.
How to install
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install zoetrope from https://github.com/furkankly/zoetrope — follow the README (on macOS: brew install furkankly/tap/zoetrope), run zoe in the current project directory, and show me what the session graph looks like. Ask if you need any extra permissions.
Runs on a regular laptop — just Homebrew or a ready-made binary from the releases page.
