Agentsmith is a portable configuration tool for any AI agent that understands CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, GEMINI.md (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Gemini). It helps you quickly get set up with a minimal config via a wizard using a universal base + a work type profile (e.g., software dev, devops, marketing, docs, data analysis, research, design, admin). It also ensures a plan -> implement -> verify -> ship process & a session hand off protocol so that sessions can continue seamlessly. We’ve been developing this for 6 months while working fully autonomously & have now open sourced it as a reusable tool kit.
