FableCut — AI Agent Video Editor
A zero dependency web video editor where the whole project timeline is stored in a JSON file. This means Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any LLM can manipulate it via MCP/REST.
A non-linear web video editor powered by a single Node.js server with no npm dependencies. The unique part about this project is that the whole project timeline is stored in a JSON file, allowing any process (including AI agents) to access and edit it. With an included MCP server, Claude Code and Claude Desktop can manipulate the project timeline directly. A REST API allows other systems to do the same. Changes made by AI agents are pushed to the browser client using Server-Sent Events and revision numbers ensure safe multi-writing.
