Wardrobe — AI Closet Organizer
A local web application using OpenAI’s gpt-image-2 to isolate clothing items in your images and create a searchable database of your clothes, all locally.
This is an open source local web app (Node 22+, MIT) which uses the OpenAI Responses API to identify items of clothing in images and the OpenAI Images API (gpt-image-2) to generate clean cutouts of individual items. It optionally creates an AI modeled editorial image (item of clothing worn by a model generated from your input image). All files are kept locally in a data/ directory.
Why a vibe-coder should care
This can help you keep track of your many clothes if you find yourself forgetting what you have. Create a visual inventory of your clothes using your own pictures! There are also two built-in skills for Codex users, one which allows you to bulk import items from a directory, and another which allows you to generate fully modeled outfits.
