Natural-Inspired AI Techniques for Claude Code

19 Reusable AI Research Skills for Claude Code/Codex/compatible agents (Node.js 18+) including Nature-like writing style, peer review response, literature review, scientific visualization.

Nature Skills is a collection of 19 reusable AI research skills for Claude Code, Codex, and other compatible agent frameworks (Node.js 18+). These skills include paper writing (Nature-like writing style, abstract/introduction writing, peer review response), paper reading (source-linked markdown reader with equation/figure support, paper to presentation in Chinese), and general research (literature search across multiple sources with cross checking with Nature/CNS journals, statistical analysis, data availability statement writing, patent filing based on papers, reference checking). The skills can be installed globally using npx, and will be available in all sessions without any setup. Each skill represents a reproducible process rather than a set of prompts.

Why a vibe-coder should care

With Nature Skills, researchers using Claude Code/Codex for academic purposes don’t have to repeat explaining journal styles, citation rules, peer review criteria, etc. in each session. These rules are encoded only once, which saves 15–30 min per paper revision, and ensures consistent behavior of the agent over a long period of time.

How to install

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the skills from https://github.com/Yuan1z0825/nature-skills into my agent per the README and show me what was added.

Runs on a regular laptop — just Python and Node.js 18+ needed.
