GLM-5.3 is an open-weight language model developed by Zhipu AI(Z.ai) for the GLM series. It achieves the state of the art performance on all coding benchmarks such as Terminal Bench 3.0 and DeepSWE and beats all previous open-weight language models. All its improvement comes from the post-training stage instead of model architectures. We focus on its ability to serve for agents and manage large codebases. It has a context size of one million tokens, and it is available in both English and Chinese through vLLM, SGLang and OpenAI-compatible APIs.

Why a vibe-coder should care

This will be the most powerful open-weight alternative for vibe-coders who like to delegate coding work to their agents, and also the most likely one to have more API services integrated due to being open weights. The one million token context size is good enough to make sure that you can put your whole large codebase into memory while keeping the logic.
