China’s grey market is selling Claude tokens for 10% of their list price
Claude tokens are being sold in China for 10% off via proxy servers. Over 16M illegitimate requests have been made through 24k faked accounts (e.g. DeepSeek, MiniMax).
In China, there are “transfer stations” (proxy servers) that forward requests to Claude and sell Anthropic tokens for 10% off. This gets around geographical restrictions, credit card authentication, and even biometrics. It accepts payments through WeChat/Alipay.
Over 16 million illegitimate requests have been made through 24,000 faked accounts. Some of these include DeepSeek, Moonshot, and MiniMax who are using Claude API access for distillation purposes (i.e. training their own model based on how another AI behaves)
Now it’s not just about having the strongest model anymore, but also securing your API so other companies can’t steal your data through systematic requests
