Google Googlebook: Android Laptop Starting at $899, Built for Gemini

Google has launched the Googlebook, a series of Android laptops with native Gemini support starting at $899. It has Magic Cursor — a feature that allows you to use Gemini without leaving your current context. Googlebook will be available in the US starting October 4. It comes with 12 months of Google AI Pro with Gemini Advanced and 5TB of storage.

Magic Cursor sounds like a cool feature! It allows you to interact with the model without leaving your current context. I don’t think I’d personally purchase it since I use Claude Code and Fable 5.1, but if you’re a Google Workspace user, this might be worth looking into. A year of AI Pro is a nice bonus.
