Linus Torvalds, the father of Linux, has made it clear what his position is in the AI controversy, he has replied to those who are asking to ban the use of AI tools saying “fork it or just leave”, also announcing that he will be “very loudly ignoring” any requests for this nature.
When the man who has been at the head of the world’s biggest open source project for 35 years closes a discussion like this, he says that AI development in serious projects is no longer an exception but a standard.
