Meta Introduces ‘Pocket’, An AI-Powered No Code Video Game Creator
Pocket by Meta — a tool that lets you make games easily using AI. It’s been developed by the former Gizmo team, and it’s available for iOS.
Pocket is a game creation tool developed by the former Gizmo team that uses AI to generate games based on simple descriptions. It works on touchscreens and detects phone movements, allows you to use images from your photo library and add custom sounds. You can share your creations on social media or let others remix them. Pocket was released in the US in early 2026 after being tested in Brazil since July.
Meta’s goal is to democratize content creation with AI. According to Zuckerberg, this enables them to release products much quicker than before. Pocket is Meta’s answer to Instagram for games: it makes the process accessible to everyone.
