Solaris by Runway AI creates app UI automatically without requiring any coding.

Runway has launched Solaris, a tool that creates dynamic user interfaces without writing any code. An AI powered by Gen-4.5 generates frames of the UI in real time at 720p resolution and reacts to mouse and voice input. It’s currently a research project, but Runway is looking for early partners to get started with it.

It’s a radical new way of thinking about software — not an app, but a “world model of interfaces” that can predict what interface you need in any given situation and generate it. This could usher in a new era of dynamic UIs tailored to individual users and use cases.
