Superhuman Acquires AI Meeting Recorder Fathom to Build Post-Call Agents
Superhuman (40M users) has acquired Fathom (400K MAU), an AI meeting transcription tool. The goal: agents that automatically write follow-up emails, update tasks, and schedule the next call after every meeting.
Superhuman — an email client with 40 million users — has acquired Fathom, an AI meeting recorder with 400,000 monthly active users. Fathom records calls, surfaces topics and action items; Superhuman wants to connect that to email, calendar, and a database so an agent can write follow-up emails, update notes, and schedule the next call after a meeting — no human required.
As a vibe coder, I've been building similar chains by hand: meeting → summary → task → email. The idea of tying it all into one platform is right, but execution will be everything — Fathom is small relative to Superhuman's scale, and integrations like this are rarely fast.
