AI-driven meeting recording company Fathom is acquired by Superhuman
Superhuman (40M users) acquired Fathom (400K MAU), a meeting transcription software powered by AI. They plan on building an agent to automatically send follow up emails, update tasks, and set up another meeting.
Popular email app Superhuman has purchased AI-driven meeting transcription tool Fathom. With 40 million users, Superhuman acquired Fathom, which has 400,000 monthly active users. Fathom can transcribe meetings, highlight main points, and action items. The plan is to use this information to automate emails, tasks, and meetings through an agent.
The idea of integration sounds fantastic, but we’ll have to wait and see how well this is implemented. Fathom is considerably smaller than Superhuman and integration may prove challenging.
