X Bundles Grok, Cursor and Premium Into One Subscription

SpaceXSI is the company behind the X social network. Elon Musk renamed it from SpaceXAI after US President Donald Trump pushed for the term "super intelligence" instead of "artificial intelligence." Now SpaceXSI has launched a single bundle called X Subscription. It combines the Grok chatbot, the AI-based coding tool Cursor, and X Premium, X's paid tier. The base Plus plan costs $8 a month. The top Ultra plan costs $200 a month and gives, according to the company, 20 times more usage than Plus. Cursor's spot in the bundle is not an accident. SpaceXSI bought the company outright in August 2026.

Put Cursor inside a subscription people already buy for Grok and X Premium, and the coding tool gets a built-in audience. But for real coding work, the model behind the tool matters more than the subscription plan. Grok still trails Claude Opus, Anthropic's strongest coding model. Because of that gap, X Subscription stays mostly a free bonus for people who already pay for Grok. It is not yet a real option for serious coding work.
