FLUX 3 Image Klein: generate images from text on your own computer
This is an open image-generation model from Black Forest Labs: describe a picture in words and get an image, or combine up to ten of your own photos into one new scene.
It's a model that draws a picture from a text description, and can also merge several of your photos into one scene.
When it helps
Useful if you want to generate or edit images locally without outside services; skip it if you need a classic open-source license to resell results without restrictions.
Pros
- Runs on a regular laptop or Mac — no powerful server needed
- 5.6 billion parameters — a compact size for an image model
- Merges up to ten of your photos into one scene, no manual editing
- Made by the team behind the whole FLUX family of models
Cons
- License isn't classic open source — check the terms yourself before selling results
- Model weighs about 11 GB — needs disk space
