Find a 3D model by description, not by filename
SimReady Central is an NVIDIA site where you search ready-made 3D models by text description or image and see them in photorealistic preview.
It's semantic search for 3D models: the SigLIP2 model (understands both text and images) finds a file by meaning, not by its name.
When it helps
Useful if you build robot simulations on NVIDIA's Omniverse and need ready SimReady models; for other projects, you probably don't need it.
Pros
- Runs right in the browser, nothing to install
- Searches by meaning, not by exact file name
- Shows models photorealistically via RTX, not as icons
- The same search approach works for any file collection
Cons
- Useful mainly for robot simulation projects in Omniverse
- Without an Omniverse project, this service is useless to you
How to set it up — step by step
- 1Open https://huggingface.co/spaces/nvidia/simready-central in your browser — no installation needed.
- 2Type a text description of the 3D model you need, or upload a similar image.
- 3Look through the results shown photorealistically and pick a matching model.
- 4Send the agent the text from the block below to learn how the service works.
- 5Check whether you actually need SimReady models for the Omniverse platform — otherwise skip this service.
