US to Supply Ukraine with 50,000 AI-Guided Kamikaze Drones
Auterion and Skyfall will deliver 50,000 Shrike attack drones with AI guidance to Ukraine for $100M — the drone autonomously locks onto a target even without GPS or radio communication.
American company Auterion and manufacturer Skyfall have signed a $100M contract: 50,000 Shrike FPV drones will be equipped with the Skynode S AI guidance module — the drone autonomously acquires a moving target even when GPS is jammed and communications are cut. Deliveries to the Ukrainian front line began in July 2026.
A shift to swarm attacks is planned without replacing hardware — via a firmware update. A cheap FPV drone costing a few hundred dollars gains capabilities that previously required million-dollar systems: this changes the very logic of aerial warfare.
