Anthropic expanded Claude's voice mode: instead of a single lightweight Haiku model, users now have access to Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku — three tiers of intelligence in live conversation. Integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Canva, and Notion also launched: you can reschedule a meeting or dictate an email by voice, and the beta supports 10 languages — German, Hindi, Japanese, and more.
Voice AI is no longer a smart dictaphone — it's becoming an agent that manages real applications. OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic are all betting on voice as the next dominant interface, and the race is just getting started.
