Alibaba’s Open-Weight Image Model on a Consumer GPU Qwen-Image-2.1

Alibaba has released its Qwen-Image-2.1 model, an open weight 7B parameter image generation/editing model. This model can be used on consumer GPUs such as the RTX 3090, supports up to 10 references and transparent background. The model weights are available here.

This is awesome because we can use this model locally without having to pay any request fees when demoing. Note that this model is licensed for research purposes only, so you cannot use this model in your projects without getting consent from Qwen. Personally, I would like to give this model a shot on some of my own projects first before checking out their demo page.
