An agent skill audits sites against Vietnamese law
vn-law-check is a free skill for Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, Cline and Codex: ask the agent to audit a site against Vietnamese law, and it scans the code and points to the exact file, line and the specific article it may conflict with.
This is an open skill for AI coding agents - Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline and Codex - that checks a site or mobile app against Vietnamese law. The authors describe the task this way: "Ask your agent to 'audit this site against Vietnamese law' and it scans the code, then points to the exact file and line that may conflict with Vietnamese regulations, with the article it relates to." The reason the skill exists is that Vietnam replaced almost all of its digital laws in 2025-2026 - on personal data protection, e-commerce, cybersecurity and AI - and the official texts of these laws exist only in Vietnamese. It checks consent forms, privacy policy wording, ad trackers, cross-border data transfer through services like Firebase or OpenAI, e-commerce disclosures, and chatbots that pretend to be human staff. Each finding gets a label - 🔴 fix now, 🟡 should improve, 🟢 OK, ⚪ not applicable - with a citation to the specific law and article; a site with no forms or trackers gets a one-line verdict instead of a long report. The skill can also draft a privacy policy, a consent form and a cookie banner from the same scan.
Why a vibe-coder should care
The usefulness here is narrow but concrete: the rule applies not to any site, but to one that collects data from Vietnamese users, runs ad trackers or a chatbot - mainly to people building a product for the Vietnamese market. Reports come in Vietnamese by default. The authors themselves are upfront that this is a first-pass review tool, not legal advice, and that items they couldn't verify against the full legal text are marked as unverified - the agent is explicitly told not to invent article numbers or fine amounts.
How to install
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install the vn-law-check skill from https://github.com/mhfed/vn-law-check into my agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or another) per the README, run an audit of my site against Vietnamese law, and show me the report of findings.
Runs on a regular laptop - it's a skill for your existing AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor and others), no separate program install or video card needed.
