Media Desk: one click drafts script, cover, storyboard
Media Desk is a plugin for DeepSeek Harness, DeepSeek's own agent platform, that turns one idea into a script, a title, a cover and a storyboard with a single click. It wasn't built by DeepSeek itself but by a RedNote tech creator who made it as the desk behind their own daily posts.
Media Desk is a page in the sidebar of DeepSeek Harness, DeepSeek's own agent platform. The plugin itself, though, is not built by DeepSeek - the authors say so directly: "Is this made by DeepSeek? No. It's a community plugin." It was built by a Chinese tech creator who runs the channel "Snail's Tech Notes" on RedNote, as the desk behind their own daily posts. It opens on a wall of your ideas, one line per card; text, links, images, videos and quotes all turn into cards on the board automatically. Open an idea and click "Draft it", and a title, a spoken script, a video cover, images and a storyboard are generated in parallel, filling in as each piece is ready; ask for a change in the chat on the left ("make it clearer", "shoot frame 3 from above", "bolder cover text") and every change can be undone. Finished pieces are dragged onto a publishing calendar, and in the Insights page you can enter view numbers by hand or import a CSV to get a breakdown by platform and see which pieces worked, turning any suggestion into a writing rule with one click. It works with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X as well as Chinese platforms - RedNote, Douyin, Bilibili and WeChat.
Why a vibe-coder should care
This closes the routine that usually eats separate time from a creator: instead of coming up with a title, drawing a cover and laying out a storyboard one by one, all of it appears together and can be adjusted with one sentence. DeepSeek Harness itself doesn't publish a post anywhere on your behalf - the finished text and files have to be copied and posted by hand, since platforms don't offer a shared publish button. All data stays on your own computer in a local folder, with no cloud and no sign-up, but the scripts are written by whichever model you've connected inside DeepSeek Harness, and that is billed to your own account with that model provider, not free.
How to install
Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:
Install the Media Desk plugin into my DeepSeek Harness from https://github.com/woniuniuniu/dsh-media-desk - set it up per the README, ask me for model details if you need them, capture a post idea for me, and show me the finished script and cover draft.
Needs DeepSeek Harness already installed (Mac app or web version) with your own connected model - no video card needed, but without an image-model key the cover will only be built from text.
