Agent skill turns a text answer into a readable page

Answer me with HTML has Claude Code, Codex and Cursor draft a short Markdown note, then builds the diagrams and layout itself — a page instead of a wall of text.

Answer me with HTML is an agent skill: when you ask a hard question in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or a few other agents, the agent writes a short Markdown draft and hands it to a bundled CLI, which turns it into a single HTML page with diagrams, tables and a theme. The authors measured the split themselves: a page written by hand averaged 4,893 tokens, mostly SVG coordinates and CSS the model had to compute; with the skill, the same questions took 612 tokens on average, about 8 times fewer, and the page was ready in 12 seconds instead of 31. The CLI lays out flowcharts with the dagre library and spaces sequence diagrams by label width, so arrows do not end up pointing at nothing. On request it also builds short explainer videos, in the style of 3Blue1Brown, where the diagram assembles itself as the narration plays; that saves even more, about 18 times fewer output tokens and 12 times faster in the authors' own test. Pages are plain offline HTML files with nothing on a CDN, so they open and can be shared without an internet connection.

Why a vibe-coder should care

For anyone working in Claude Code or a similar agent every day, long architecture explanations and comparison answers are exactly the kind of reply that is painful to read in a terminal. This skill does not make the model smarter, it just stops it from hand-drawing HTML badly and slowly, and the token savings are real and measured rather than promised. The honest limit: it is one more skill folder to keep around, and for a one-line question like "how do I show hidden files with ls" it stays out of the way and just answers in text, which is the right call.

How to install
