Turn one character picture into a set of chat GIF stickers

This is a skill for the Codex coding agent: give it one character picture, and it builds a set of animated GIF stickers for chat — no illustrator or animator needed.

Ready-made instructions (a skill) for the Codex agent that turn a single character picture into a set of short looping GIF images — stickers.

When it helps

Useful for a quick personal sticker pack or a simple brand mascot for a short promo clip; if you need animation with zero blurred frames, plan on checking every sample by hand.

Pros

  • Makes stickers without hiring an illustrator or animator
  • Works with photos, pixel art, and anime pictures
  • Three styles and two motion modes to choose from
  • No GPU or separate app needed — just the agent

Cons

  • A full gesture can blur the character's face or hand
  • Check one sample by eye before ordering the full batch

How to set it up — step by step

  1. 1Open Codex in your project folder.
  2. 2Send the agent the text from the block below to install the skill.
  3. 3Send the agent a photo or character picture and ask for 10 light-motion GIFs with "hi", "thanks", "bye".
  4. 4Check the finished archive and preview — see how clean the motion looks.
  5. 5For a full gesture (full action), request one sample first and check the face and hands before ordering the full set.

Text for your agent

Copy this and send it to your agent — Claude Code, Codex, any of them:

Install the skill from https://github.com/WoYun520/pixel-gif-sticker-pack in Codex, then send it a photo or image of a character and ask it to make 10 light-motion GIF stickers with the phrases "hi", "thanks" and "bye" — show me the finished zip and the preview.

Runs through Codex — no program or GPU of your own, the agent's model does the work. Running the Python scripts by hand needs just a regular laptop with Python 3 and Pillow.
