One idea becomes a full script and plan for a vertical drama series
This is a set of templates for an AI agent: send one sentence with a story idea, and you get a project plan, episode scripts, and video prompts for a Chinese-style vertical drama series (manju).
Plain text instructions, no software involved: 21 genres — from urban revenge drama to cultivation fantasy — each in its own template file for the agent.
When it helps
Useful if you want to try making short serialized videos for social media and don't know where to start with world or plot. Skip it if you're not interested in video content or already have a finished script.
Pros
- Removes the hardest part — inventing the world and first episode
- No installation or GPU needed — the AI model does the work
- Delivers the whole pipeline: plan, image prompts, scripts, storyboards
Cons
- Quality depends heavily on the model — weaker in a DeepSeek chat
- A finished plan isn't a finished video — you still edit footage yourself
- Not all 21 genres are equally tested by the authors
How to set it up — step by step
- 1Open Claude Code in your project folder — nothing else to install.
- 2Think up a one-sentence story idea: world, hero, core conflict.
- 3Send the agent the text from the block below.
- 4Check the project card and plan: world, characters, and episode one's plot.
- 5Reply 'continue' so the agent moves to the next stage — prompts, scripts, storyboards.
- 6Start a new chat for each new episode or genre, so settings don't mix up.

Copy the template for the genre I want from https://github.com/zhanghao123vip/ai-manju-skills (for example the skills/dushi-manju folder for urban drama) into ~/.claude/skills/, and from my one-line idea write up the project plan: the world, the characters, and what the first episode is about.
These are plain text templates with no program of their own — the model you paste them into does the work (Claude Code, WorkBuddy or just a chat). No GPU, nothing to install.
