Creating a landing page is one of the early challenges when you’re vibe-coding your product. You explain what you want, your agent writes some HTML, and… well, it’s a page, but it’s not very pretty. It’s not your agent’s fault. There are just too many tiny decisions to make about layout, spacing, fonts, colors, etc., which can be difficult to communicate if you’re not a designer.
This landing page template by Start Bootstrap avoids this issue. Rather than starting with a blank slate, you provide your agent with a real HTML template that’s been professionally designed. Then you simply ask them to customize it to fit your product. This template uses Bootstrap 5 and includes all the necessary components for a landing page, like a hero section, feature showcases, testimonials, etc. And it even looks decent out of the box, both on desktop and mobile devices.

It’s really just a single HTML file with some CSS and images. Here’s a breakdown of what’s included: a full-width hero section with an image background and a call-to-action button, three feature showcase sections with alternating text and images, a testimonials section with three headshots and quotes, and a footer with a newsletter signup form. The design is simple but effective, and your agent can easily adjust anything they want by changing the HTML.

How to hand this to your agent

To edit the file, clone the repository and then open up `dist/index.html`. If you just want to get started quickly, you don’t even need to install anything. You can view the HTML file directly in your browser and your agent can edit it without needing any special tools. The images in `dist/assets/img/` are placeholders that you can replace with images of your own product.
Clone the Start Bootstrap landing page from https://github.com/StartBootstrap/startbootstrap-landing-page and customize dist/index.html for my product: [describe what your product does]. Replace the hero headline and subheadline, update the three showcase sections with my features and replace the images with screenshots from dist/assets/img/, swap the testimonial text with placeholder quotes, and change the primary Bootstrap color to [your color].
The pre-built files in the dist/ folder are ready to use without any build step. Just edit the HTML and open it in a browser. If you want to customize the SCSS source or rebuild from scratch, that's what npm install + npm start are for — but for most vibe-coding use cases the dist/ files are enough.
